FILLING WATER TROUGHS OPPOSITE MAIN GATE
The two water troughs in the field are inter-connected.
The supply hose pipe is housed behind the brick wall with a tap to turn it on/off.
The hose passes through the wall with enough length to reach our troughs. A hose "stop" now limits how much hose can be pulled through.
Connect the hose pipe to the single green hose as shown and turn on water.
Water will then flow into both troughs and automatically stop when the trough is full.
Turn off water, unclip & remove hose.
Because there is now a hose stop, it is best not to wind the hose back behind the wall. I will find a hose support to help store it against the wall
Tell Roy via Staff WhatsApp if
-
hose leaks so I can cut off damaged section and extend hose OR
-
if nettles etc need to be cut back for access to tap.
