Licences & Approvals


Claire  Pendleton is a qualified Instructor, with the British Horse Society qualification BHS AI.

She is supported by a team of Qualified Instructors as well as Volunteers.

Instructors include BHS AI qualified instructors and Instructors with appropriate Coaching qualifications (Level 3 Principles of Coaching Sport City & Guilds) as well as qualified NVQ Assessors.

Court Equestrian is also an NVQ Assessment Centre, and employs qualified NVQ Assessors. we run classes for students (both for 16-18 year olds who are usually fully funded by the Government, ie free, and over 19's who now usually have to pay) for NVQ Level 1 and 2, as well as Level 3, in Horse Care.

Court Equestrian is licensed by Malvern Hills District Council under the Riding Establishment Acts to keep a Riding Establishment.

The Act requires riding establishments to maintain all facilities to an acceptable standard, and to look after horses and ponies professionally and kindly.

This involves an annual inspection by a Vet and a Council Licensing Officer, who look at all facilities and check each horse and pony carefully.

Court Equestrian is also a member of ABRS - the Association of British Riding Schools, who also carry out out Inspections.

Finally, the School has taught thousands of riders of all ages since 1995.
