Court Equestrian has a wide range of facilities which are based on

the stable complex and associated arenas and paddocks at Priors Court, plus

additional paddocks and stables a short distance away (easy hack across farmland),
and land rented from a neighbouring farmer.

Facilities include:

  • new Indoor Riding School with full lighting

  • a number of stable blocks, some brick-built, some block-built and some timber

  • 2 out door arenas with all-weather surface, one floodlit

  • main arena has 24' (7.2m) of large mirrors

  • covered waiting/marshalling area for ponies

  • hay barns

  • horse walker/exerciser

  • secure tack room,

  • office, rug store, rest area etc.

  • classroom for lectures, theory classes etc

  • small kitchen area with kettle, microwave, sink, fridge

There is on-site car parking, and most of the yard and access paths are concreted.

A number of CCTV cameras cover many areas of the school, day and night, with security recording. The school has a full range of Show Jumps plus a small Cross Country course, and there is excellent hacking with easy access to the nearby Old Hills.

Loose boxes/stables

Court Equestrian has a large number of stables/loose boxes. of different sizes and design, suitable for all types of horses and ponies, including mares in foal.

Horse walker/exerciser

The horse walker/exerciser is used to keep horses fit, and to keep them exercised if they have not been ridden for a while, or if the owner feels they need additional work

Covered waiting area

We have a number of areas where horses and ponies can be tethered between rides, including this large covered waiting area, which is particularly useful in both very hot or cold/wet weather.

Stable blocks

This is a view of one of the many stable blocks that we have at Court Equestrian, for our own school horses and livery horses and ponies

Handling bales, feed, muck

With the large number of horses & ponies at Court Equestrian, we need serious help in handling material. Our main tractor has forks for pallets, squeeze forks for bales, and a long spike for large bales, as well as a post rammer for planting fence posts and a power take off for other implements. Our smaller tractor mainly handles stable waste.

This little quad allows us to carry a few bales, quickly around the grounds.

Our new Indoor Riding School is now operational. This is Claire jumping under lights
