For the moment, we will be offering private 1-2-1 lessons only.
As a result we have amended our prices to try to make them as affordable as possible. Our normal tariff will return as soon as we are able to restart group lessons.

We will also need everyone to follow social distancing rules so that no one should be closer than 2 metres to anyone else.
We will also require everyone (riders and anyone accompanying them) to wear gloves at all times when on the yard. We do have some latex gloves available but you may wish to bring your own riding gloves instead.
Hand sanitising stations are located at the car park entrance, the stables office, kitchen. and at WCs.

Always take particular care.
You are recommended to always wear a body protector.
Always wear Hi Viz when hacking.
Ensure girth is properly tightened and stirrups are correct length.
Always check with an Instructor if you have any concerns, doubts or questions.
Riders can be accompanied on the premises by just one other person from their household.

PREVIOUS UPDATE 23rd MARCH 2020
We have had a management meeting today 23rd March to discuss what we should do at Court Equestrian to help the fight against the virus.

We have looked at the Government advice and the best advice that we can find in the Equestrian industry.
In the best interests of our staff, customers, friends, family and horses, we have decided the following:
-
all activity will be suspended with immediate effect. That covers all lessons & hacks whether group or private, all City & Guilds courses, all work experience, all short and vocational courses.
-
livery owners - Claire will talk to you individually about caring for your horses
-
staff - we will run a skeleton staff only in order to look after the welfare of our many ponies and horses. All other staff will be put on "furlough". This is the Government term for staff who are told not to come to work because of Covid 19, and who will be paid 80% of their wages by the Government.
-
horses and ponies - all will be looked after during this period and will be ready for riding when Covid 19 is behind us.
-
all deliveries of feed, hay, bedding etc will continue to be received.
We know that being with horses and being in the open air is so helpful, invigorating and de-stressing, so it is a great shame that we have had to take this step. However, we are sure that you will understand the reasons and, providing we all work together and do our part, you will be back in the saddle as soon as possible
