NVQ Courses
Court Equestrian has now started to offer NVQ Courses in HORSE CARE. This is the standard NVQ in the Equestrian Industry. The courses are registered with City & Guilds.
The course is taken over a period of time to suit the students, module-by-module. You can re-take any module as many times as may be necessary to pass it. There is no single Pass-or-Fail exam!
The first three students have started their NVQ Level 2 course. Further Students can be accepted from around SEPTEMBER 2009. In some circumstances, the course an be fully-funded, that is, paid by the State.
For further information, please contact Claire, who is the NVQ Assessor. Brief details are given below.
NVQ LEVEL 1
This is suitable for individuals, or for Schools/Special Groups.
It cannot be funded through Court Equestrian, so students have to pay for the City & Guilds Registration/course charges and for Court Equetsrian Training charges. However, funding may be available in certain circumstances, such as via Social Services, and Schools and Special Groups may be able to access other sources of funds.
This course is particularly appropriate to students who struggle with more academic activities, and for mature horse owners/riders who would like to devleop their equestrian skills.
NVQ LEVEL 2
This is also the Modern Apprenticeship in the industry.
