This section contains suggestions and guidelines concerning:
- riding and handling horses in a safer manner
- meeting and dealing with other people around the yard
- improving the appearance and operation of the yard.
The most important factor is for riders, and their parents and carers, to act in a thoughtful, sensible and helpful manner in and around horses and the yard. To those who have handled ponies or horses for some time, it will all seem very obvious, but those of you who are fairly new to riding may find some of the comments helpful.
